Muirwai Beach

This was our first outing to one of the many, many, many spectacular beaches in New Zealand.  Muirwai Beach is a short distance away from where we live on the Tasmanian Sea side of NZ.  We learned that a huge colony of gannets nest, mate and have their babies on these cliffs.  We'll be sure to come back here between September and November to see this.  For now, we just enjoyed the beauty of a perfect day!

  1. Karen,
I am just discovering all these wonderful photos on your blog for the first time. We looked at the same entries for so long I didn't realize you downloaded so many wonderful pictures all about the same time. Love these spectacular scenes. What a location for your missionary service!
